Odd signing to say the least given we've got Simon Murray scoring for fun.

But then we have just appointed Steven Pressley as manager - so anything is possible.
 
I tell you now if we had have had Acquah and that American lad in our side now we wouldnt have made Wembley, We wouldnt have needed too as we would have **** the league in, maybe got there in the FA trophy. Two talents that left because of the Rat .
 
Someone wrote an interesting post the other day that highlighted that tall number 9's take longer to learn how to use their physicality in the game.

Nothing could be more so truthful than watching Acquah play. I've never seen a player built so big but have absolutely no sense of how to use his body. He never jumped and hardly ever out muscled anyone. Him and Dackers were very similar.

Maidenhead just told him to stay in the box and be a nuisance and that was more effective.

As a target man, I'd still rather have Hopper.
