Some people may not know that you can monitor any company through Companies House free, gratis & for nothing. Go to their website & click on "Find Company Information", type in company number 00089767 & search.

The next screen shows the current status & to the right is "Monitor the company". You have to register an email address but as soon as any change happens or a document is filed Companies House sends you a email.

It is down to them to make it public. The FL won't comment.

But none of this demonstrates their is an umbongo in place and the club have directly denied it. All it demonstrates is that the accounts may be late. We are asked to speculate that this automatically results in an umbongo under league rules (with no evidence of the same).

Can we make sure that when the next signing happens we go and look this up all over again- and if the accounts aren't filed then we can make a note to avoid future bouts of potentially damaging speculation.

On that note, if the accounts went overdue 30/04/12 then what about our signings in July?

Sadly, I think that's the reality. Much as I'll be dismayed to find out we are under a hippo-created, dainty tango inducing fruit concoction, I'm not sure I'm too bothered about the club keeping it quiet if it's for the greater good. If it's a temporary measure, then making it public is hardly going to help us attract (the right) new players.

At least we're only 1 player short (with Bentley available if necessary). There was a time not so long ago we were in a far worse position. Keep the faith.

For what its worth I just tried looking up the accounts returned situation of the rest of the clubs in L2. Just wanted to see if any precedents had already been set this summer that might help dispel/confirm this conjecture.

Sadly no joy. As far as I can tell both Aldershot and Plymouth are a week or so overdue - hardly the best examples of clubs that manage finances well... :unsure:

It's simple here, the accountants are apparently waiting to be paid and until they are the accounts do not go in to the relevant bodies.Some staff are unpaid and we haven't a pot to **** in.

All this ******** we hear makes me so angry and the skull-duggery that goes on honestly make me sick.I am falling out of love with SUFC and football on the whole on a daily basis.

Cricko how many umbongos? 1,2,3,4, or more? You are right to express your anger, i wander who will be the scapegoat, Gary Locket, Paul Sturrock or Ron Martin? RM with full control, GL financial genius or PS unable to put a descent squad together with so many unregistered players, no goalkeeper. Come back Tara Brady and sort this mess out.

If we're under an embargo then why did we bid for Mildenhall a few days ago?

On the other hand, if we're not under an embargo, then why aren't we seeing as we've not filed our accounts?
