Post-Match Thread and Ratings Ebbsfleet 0-4 Southend United

So away at Oldham or Rochdale in the playoffs if we win our next 2.

Professional performance today, hopefully that builds confidence to do the same to Wealdstone

A great result for us and once again an amazing set of results for our rivals. It really is breathtaking how everything is aligning for us again. Let's finally take our chance this time.

Today Bridge was excellent as was KAF. Coker was pretty good too. Walker was again good when he came on. Kendall looked good but is injured again. Goodliffe's shot was superb and deserved to go in, but his defending was.... inconsistent. Husin was calm and competent. Taylor good. GSM didn't seem his usual self but was still OK and actually defended well on a couple of occasions. Hayes commanded his area for once and made a couple of strong punched clearances - he seems to have a powerful right jab.

Nice to see Bonne score. Exceptional goal hanging.

Only Hopper seemed anonymous for much of the game although he did have a couple of nice touches.

Thanks to Hartlepool and Altrincham we can now overtake both Gateshead and Halifax. Don't blow it lads.....

As said, can only beat what's front of us, but was mesmerized by how bad Ebbsfleet were.
I'll leave individual players to one side, but can we really beat three play-off teams?
You don't suppose that one goal difference to Gateshead will make a difference?
If so, we might regret missed chances here.
At least it adds to the excitement.
They looked totally demoralised in that second half. Right formation today from Kev.

Boston lost today to a 97th minute goal at Solihull. Next week Boston play Gateshead and will need a win to ensure their survival so come on you Fen dwelling monkeys. That should be good news for us.

Mind you, our opponents Wealdstone need to win too as they are only 2 points from the drop. They gained a good point today. I think they will adopt the Braintree approach against us, 11 behind the ball and watch us play our pretty passing triangles. Hopefully we will break them down.

And talking of Braintree.... they play Halifax next and could do us a good turn....

I was hoping Kendall went off with cramp rather than a strain - difficult to see from the DAZN coverage.

Not the right thread but those 2 points dropped at Sutton are massive now.

Realistically it's between us, Altrincham, Halifax and Gateshead. Possibly Richdale if they stuff it right up.

Hope the rain stayed away from Ebbsfleet. It's missing it down here in Corringham. We'll done to the travelling fans. Will watch @D1versity vlog with a smile on my face later this evening
