I think the best definition that describes your attitude towards Bridge is blinkered. It's obvious that you have a limited outlook on him by using the word useless, which he certainly is not. But as I said previously it is your right to have that opinion of him, although for many it is a derogatory one. Personally I find him at times a frustrating player but then again at this level so many are, but definitely undeserving of being labelled useless.

Bridge is one of those players that make things happen. We've not got many of them left. He's also an absolutely die hard true blue, playing without a contract wasnt he last season ?
I think it was Bonne that had the chance to score and blasted it over, courtesy of a pass inside from the wing from the excellent sub Jack Bridge who werent on for long.
I will blow smoke up his arse, he is deserving, for us at this level.

Agree with all the above, especially that Jack is frustrating at times. However, that is what you get by having a wide player on the side of the pitch, that is opposite to his natural foot, so he has to pull everything back onto it.

Although this season Jack does seem a little more hesitant. Is this because he hasn't developed the kind of understanding with anyone in the squad that he had with Wes? I don't know. One example was on Saturday a huge gap opened on the edge of the box to burst into, (easier to spot on TV, than from behind the goal), Jack either ignored it and slowed the game down again, or didn't have the confidence to take it.

On the positive, Jack has earnt a reputation that when he starts, most teams dedicate two players to nullify the threat he offers. Hopefully, now though, that creates space for Leon, who seems to favour operating in the inside left channel.

we have all mentioned the need, as we see it, for a LWB to be signed for next season. I would hope that player, if he comes, is naturally left footed, to be able to take opportunities to thrust down the left and whip balls in quicker than Jack can or does.

Until then, for me, there is no doubting Jack's commitment to the shirt and club and I am more than happy to see him take to the pitch for us, although I know I am going to be frustrated at times with him, like most others maybe?
