Juppy a true legend and i will never forget his goal at cardiff which secured the first promotion i had seen as a southend fan.

now apparently set be offered a player-coach role at Horsham, who have lost their ground and will be ground sharing with Worthing next season

Excellent will think about nipping over there if that is the case....I think he lives in Preston Park from memory???

Never know we might see him back here as a coach one day ;) Would love to see the guy back. Really nice bloke.

Turned down first-team coach role at Horsham, and is currently captain and centre-back at Bognor.

Anyone remember the Duncan Jupp song. Oh way, oh way, of way, oh way, Duncan Jupp Jupp Jupp, Duncan Jupp Jupp Jupp. ( pizza hut theme tune)

Should be a statue of him waving his arms like a looney, at Fossetts Farm. Although he'll probably be a pensioner by the time its built.

I was at his table at the POTY do that year, it was the week before the Grimsby game and I asked him what he would do if he scored the winner. He said he had absolutely no idea, probably just stand there looking confused! Though he admitted himself it was probably not worth worrying about. Alas the goal didn't come at Grimsby but he saved it for an even sweeter moment! Was a good player for us and a jolly nice chap to boot.
