I think they've got another ex-Shrimper although a lot less of a legend than Juppy. Luke Nightingale plays upfront for them.

Same here Ricey - had a hunch Barnet would snap him up...or thought perhaps Stevenage may come in if push came to shove for Juppy...think he is better than where he is going unfortunately :(

I would have him back here as a back up cause lets be honest we haven't got the greatest of defensive cover have we?? What were to happen if we had mass injuries and a couple on bans he would suit the bill perfectly.

While i would love him back - some gills fans said he was absolutely cack and wished they hadn't taken him off our hands after the league 1 title winning season. I haven't seen him play since he left, but unfortunately, it appears cricko would be a more feasible right back cover than Juppy :(

:( I will always remember him! sad that he has gone this far down the ladder, but it is certainly Bognors gain to get him in there side! When he was in the side, I just thought the team sheets we were putting out were great, sad it was all broken up when we got promoted to the championship!

He never had a great deal of pace , and with him not getting any younger , i feel he would struggle in league 1 , could do a job in Conference all day long .

Probably being a bit (well, alot) slow but was just shocked to find out that Juppy was released by the Gills in December.

Anyone know if he has found a new club yet?

Bognor Regis in the Blue Square South was where I believe we were told he'd gone.

He is still at Bognor and played for them on Saturday. I read that he lives nearby and is happy not to be travelling for the time being

Just been on the Bognor site and he is there - as a midfielder it seems - obviously recognised his goalscoring talent he had while at the Super Blues!!!! :rolleyes: (Albeit that one goal he got was bloody important!)

Was shocked to hear that Juppy was at the "mighty" Bonger Regis Town, he's been really injury prone in the last 12 months or so and is probably just happy to playing again.
