Defining Moment

I think that going to Cardiff for the first time, and getting out of the bottom half of the league last year were the defining moments in setting up our success this year.

I'm sort of with SUFC Employee on this one. It was seeing that excelent display at Carlisle last season. As I said in my post about the game, it was as if I had gone through a time warp and found myself watching one of the great Blue's teams of old. My faith in Tilly and Brush was re-forged, and I knew we were in for a special time.

From this season? Boston and Swansea, two fantastic performances back-to-back, and the debut of Sir Fred(d)y of Eastwood!

Someone should really do a poll of this. Take all the suggestions mentioned above and let the masses decide...

Don't all look at me!

The feeling after Tuesday's win was unbelievable. I'm not sure that this can be classfied as a pivotal moment since we have no idea how the team will perform from this point on, but after seeing the way they reacted after the final whistle the sense of excitement in the squad is unmistakable.

I thought that originally, but you can only have 10 choices in a poll, and it would have been unfair for me to fill them with my 10 favourites!

I have to say, though, that a lot of people have reminded me of things I had completely forgotten about. It's certainly put a smile on my face, and I hope it has yours too!

For me, i thought the turning point was Rushden Away. We absolutely murdered them and played some cracking football. We then played Wycombe at home and played some great football again but were robbed. However these 2 games showed us what we could do on the pitch and filled me with confidence for the rest of the season.

One of my biggest memories is the Boston home game. we played them off the park and the Flavs got sent off!! The legend that is Tes went in goal and we held out. The belief this must have given the team that they could go up!!

Notts Co. away.

We had had a couple of wins, lost to Wycombe despite being the better team and I feared the lads heads might drop, but instead they showed they could bounce back.

Northampton at home showed we could ride our luck + overcome our jinxes.
