......on a lighter note, and having sold out the away end, I just wonder if once again the stewards will tell us to sit 'anywhere' or.......?

Still think the best option on the c2c line is to go to rainham and get the 103 bus from just down the road at tescos as as previously mentioned get the train to dagenham dock and walk which is about 20 mins.

My memory must be failing me! 10 mins from Rainham to Daggers on the 103 bus. Apologies!

Will be one of those very rare games where we will out number the home fans. Only other time we have outnumbered the home fans was at barnet about 12 years ago though we have had very large percentage of the crowd at Orient and Colu in the past plus Cambridge back in 2005.

A reminder, too, that there is also no train service on the Fenchurch Street line between Southend Central and Shoeburyness this weekend. Might be easier to get there on a coach or car, this one.

Check out the TFL website it states service suspended between Tower Hill and Upminister AFTER 20.00 hours.

Will also check with a mate who works for TFL as well.and will let you all know

You can also get the C2C to Rainham and then jump on the 103 from there to Dagenham's ground.

Sorry, just seen it's already been posted on here! At least if you missed the post first time round, it's on here again :smiles:

Great, I will get the tube now then. I am surprised nobody hasn't pointed this out before.

Thanks

I have just looked at TFL Journey Planner and it states that there are NO tubes to Dagenham East on Saturday afternoon. I have been to watch Dagenham & Redbridge a few times before when there are no tubes and the best way to travel is:

Take the C2C to Barking, outside the station turn left to the bus stops which are about 50 yards away. There you will get a replacement bus service, make sure the one you get goes straight to Dagenham East, it is only a 15 to 20 min journey.
Coming back, buses stop outside Dagenham East tube station and go back to Barking.
