Well, I've said this before ....... and I'll say it again at the risk of some more criticism ......... but I would change the team for the game .......... as pointed out in the Independent article it seems like 3 points in the bag and it never is ......... so in a strange, double bluff way, I would shake up the team so that a) there is no complacency b) there are a number of players that the Daggers are not expecting and c) we have eager players on their toes and playing for a position in the team and d) 'cos we have 5 games in 17 days coming up and we need all the players match fit.

Agreed, all players are playing for their position and the team over the last few weeks have been tremendous .... but we have also won when we could have lost (Oxford and Preston) and also won despite letting teams like Crewe back into the game ....... so before I convince myself to go back to a more standard formation, I would suggest ..........

Daniels,
Clohessey, Philips, Barker, Prosser,
Kalala
JJ, Jesus, Sawyer, Hall
Harris

Timlin, Gilbert, Leonard (if fit), Sturrock, Dickinson on the bench

Pretty rubbish, eh? http://www.shrimperzone.com/vb/images/smilies/blush new sept 2010.gif But hopefully you get the point even if the detail is a little iffy ......... perhaps put Timlin in and take out JJ and see how they get on .......... hhhmmmm

Indeed sad news .... ...... and really adds to the view that signing another striker is the highest priority. But I do wonder about the wage bill ......... a good JPT run and possibly beating Preston and a home game against Oldham could make quite a difference to the income over the next few weeks.

And of course, we may have Paterson back soon ........... hhhhmmmm.
