Starting XI and Result

Collin
GSM, Taylor, Golding, Ralph, Bridge
Coker, Morton, KAF
Hopper, Kendall
Not overly keen on Bridge starting but the only alternative is to put Gubbins in instead and that seems a bit pointless. The midfield three has to be that for me. I know it won’t be, as Kev will almost certainly want Husin and Miley in for this. But I think KAF being a former Daggers player will put a bit more fire in his belly so he has to start.

Gubbins, gets the ball....chipped pass to opposition player or off the pitch, rinse and repeat.

I’d be surprised if Hopper walks straight into the starting 11. If he does get his deal done I do hope he walks straight into the team. I assume that Bonne or Waldron will be dropped from the squad in his place.

Would like to see KAF given a run in the side. Probably has to be in place of Cokes really. Oli was poor last week and he would work well as a sub as he always did. Whereas KAF I feel could be better from the off when the game is tighter and Cokes comes on to take advantage of space and chances as game opens up.

There has to be 2 or 3 changes today surely, would like to see KAF start instead of noor, id imagine bridge will start instead of gubbins and Kev will probably stick with walker and Kendall, unless hooper has already signed them he may start, also colin back in goal. Would love to just see us have a go at them from the off, I personally can't see Kev changing the tactics.

Would be a shame to react to the lack of attacking intent by not playing the only midfielder in the entire squad who brings genuine goalscoring threat.

Let's remember they are getting very excited due to seeing a big crowd especially when they usually get around 1700.
With our 1200 in attendance makes 2900 so any thing above that they will delighted

KAF deserves a start. In the Southport game we was often making runs into the penalty area which is desperately needed. If he and Coker both play at least the midfield would carry a little more attacking threat. Morton or Miley could play in the holding midfielder role.
