Our 2005-06 title winning season was put on track by a run of 7 consecutive wins after a dodgy start. We made heavy weather of beating some very poor teams away from home - Swindon and Rotherham. We've got a decent chance to do something similar again, because the fixture list looks pretty kind.

Goal diff is fine - same as only winning 1-0 - it's goals conceeded that's the problem.

To be fair, the commentators kept saying all along that it was problems in centre mid that were causing us difficulties, our defence seemed to be working their socks off in that 2nd half and I don't think I heard any criticism.
