OLD telephone directories make ideal personal address books. Simply cross out the names and address of people you don't know.
 
Has anyone said anything along these lines yet? If so, I'm very surprised that the gutter has not yet been reached on this occasion!

Saving water by showering or bathing together is well known for being one of the biggest money saving ideas out there - never experienced stand pipes on the street?

This was the worst lot in my lifetime - the long hot summer of 1976 and when we were told to "save water and bath with a friend".
