Out of thest two Eastwood stands the better chance of beng something like a regular as I don't think Corr will be able to play every game.

What makes you think Eastwood can play every game?

Corr might have missed a season through injury but has still made 89 appearances over the last 3 years compared to Eastwood's 74.

What about Andy Brown from Nuneaton Town. He's scored 19 goals this season. Or Adam Cunnington (former Daggers) at Tamworth; he's scored 21 goals this season and would no doubt be keen to return to the FL ?

Have to agree. Big fan of both Corr and Eastwood, but both i doubt could see a season out. Think we need at least two more forwards, thats if Tomlin goes.

Generally don't doubt Freddy wouldn't be able to play in all games. Also need to take into consideration there were times Paul Sturrock may have opted not to play him intentionally through the reason he wasn't his signing. Had he done so Fred's appearance figure be higher.

In theory, (IF, and) with a good pre-season and conditioning work they ought to be able to play every game. Neither is within ten years of Ryan Giggs in age and neither has had the extensive injury list that hurt the likes of Michael Owen.
Both have done so much bench warming over the last 2 years that any niggles won't have been aggravated.
Get them out there with a 3rd striker who has pace and hopefully we will see the goals start flying in.
I think the same should apply to Bomber too for fitness.

I would say that we need 4 main strikers for a season - with Harris, Eastwood and Corr we have around 2.75 ( - hope that makes some sense) and with a good blend of styles ........ but we don't have anyone who is pacy.

On top of this I would like to see a youngster as back-up ..... and options for other players to "go up top" when required (anyone remember Black upfront a few seasons ago ).

Otherwise I liked the look of the chap who scored against us at Rochdale - ex Scunthorpe chappy - Donnelly or was it Grant?

the young back -up may well be seedy njie rattus.

and a young trevor fitzpatrick who i think scored twice at home to rotherham on his debut. or nearly enough on his debut. we do seem to have a youngster in the squad as a last resort in order not to put too much pressure on him.

I remember Charles Ademeno. Thrown in immediately by Alvin Martin but in the long run didn't quite work out.

Ademeno is only 24, and don't think he is Nigerian either so can't question his age

How strange that he was doing very well at Crawley a few years ago and they were desperate to keep him, but he moved to Grimsby and then Wimbledon while rarely getting games. Who knows what would have happened to him if he stayed at Crawley, as literally a month after he left they got new investment and signed Matt Tubbs for £70,000.

Was the guy Alvin Martin had Ademeno or am I confusing him with someone else?

All of which is pure conjencture. Freddy was given opportunities earlier in the season and looked way off being fully match fit. He was back in the team when Sturrock was sacked.

Freddy may have looked a bit sharper towards the end of the season but looked very lethargic in the last match and was, rightly, hauled off at the beiginning of the second half.

I see very little evidence that he will be able to play all games or play more than Corr.
