As i can see Tomlin going this summer, next season only leaves us with 4 strikers. Obviously Corr and Eastwood will be first choices, but can Brown get the best out of them both?

Out of thest two Eastwood stands the better chance of beng something like a regular as I don't think Corr will be able to play every game. Can Brown get the best out of them when they play?? Time will tell but to be fair to Brown he seems to have got a bit more out of Eastwood so far. If Tomlin leaves we'll still need at least 1 knowlegeable striker to help with Corr not playing regularly and to help with competition. Wouldn't have thought we'd get a real;lly proven L2 forward in as why would teams let their first choice players go and even if they did they'd want a transfer fee which i'd say we'd be unable to pay. interesting summer ahead.

Every has been saying that Tomlin is leaving, but then they were saying the same about Cresswell who seems to be saying that he is happy down here.

Tomlin leaving? Hence why I said if.

Sorry I didn't mean that directed at you, but there have been several posts flying around. I wouldn't be surprised if he signed another contract as he is 30 years old and came into professional football quite late so my guess is he would rather have guaranteed first team football.

to you chapperz my son. someone actually apologizing to me. never

Or he might consider alternatives where he'll get paid on time at all times.:whistling:

I think Corr , Eastwood and Harris ( yes Harris ) are all very good strikers and can all be an asset to our club , but if we are going to achieve anything next season ( assuming Tomlin goes ?? ) we need to add some 'pace'.
Those three will have to play to their strengths , which is good , but none of them have pace to run away from the opposition.

To be honest not sure at all regarding Harris. Didn't really cut it in his first season here. His injuries will only dwindle him further being the age he is. But I guess I could be proved wrong.

Corr and Eastwood might do alright, but you'd really need a gas man to throw into the mix, hopefully that is Tomlin

i still think its a big ifff with eastwood, it all depends of if he can get through a tough pre-season without picking up any injuries, i hope he stays injury free tho as we might see the old eastwood back to his best.

He can do a decent job for us , but this ain't gonna happen !

Reading the non-league paper the other day, there are plenty of strikers in the blue square south/north that have scored hatfuls of goals this season that would be cheap and snap our hands off for a chance in pro football. Fingers crossed we can take a punt on one or two and discover more Hall's and Eastwood's (circa 2004).

Funnily enough I noticed his knee was still strapped up on Saturday. Wonder if his knee has actually been sorted?

Whilst they will both have a part to play I think it is far from obvious that Corr and Eastwood will be first choices next year, in fact I would be very worried if they were. What we desperately need is someone with a bit of pace.
