Massive well done to all of the Supporters Groups who have protested everywhere from Ratty's house to the ground. To all of those who have had discussions in the background, gone on the radio and telly and to the Shrimpers Trust who have literally worked tirelessly.

As a fan from a far, it can be difficult watching on helplessly sometimes but you have all saved this club. You should all be massively proud of your achievements.

Hear hear. Plus a personal word of thanks to Cricko and the Moderators for running the Zone so professionally during the last few incredibly stressful months, and for keeping us all informed.
Think I can hear the bells ringing in Hereford cathedral.
 
This will not fully sink in until the WUP is dissolved and Embargo is lifted. It does feel like a massive weight has been lifted and the club under new owners can move forward.

Full credit to all involved for getting this done.

A last comment about the Rat. It took you far too long to realise you were not going to build a new stadium. The excuses and blame culture were a smoke screen for your complete inability to run a football club.

You should now hide, never show your face at Southend ever again. You will be remembered as the Rat who nearly ruined our wonderful club.
 
At last - let’s all take a breath in and release slowly.
