Would like to know what this will all mean for the new training ground. Will it take much to bring it back to usable pitches with basic facilities.
It's difficult for a player to resist when £s are thrown at you way above what we can pay. Dalby being an example.
Can't begrudge a player wanting to better himself in the EFL and earn more at certain stages of their short career.
Hopefully Cards respects the progression he's made under kev and can see the futures now looking much brighter here.
It was noticeable last night that they had very few big physical players back or front and as a result Cards had a field day. He's good in the air, very strong, but very good feet too. A second large quick athletic striker would be very useful.
We need Ralph's aerial abilities back in the team, but other than that it will be hard to improve our starting 11 other than Collin coming back in.
EFL clubs are restricted by the Transfer Window though, aren't they?Would like to know what this will all mean for the new training ground. Will it take much to bring it back to usable pitches with basic facilities.
Yep, but we're in October and it's not far away. I can imagine a lot will be monitoring and watching him. Unfortunately in the real world, clubs don't honour the rules on tapping up other teams players. They all have ways and means. Players who know players and are asked to make contact etc..EFL clubs are restricted by the Transfer Window though, aren't they?
We also need Ralph’s pace at the back. It’s not fun when our defence is in a foot race right now. It's difficult for a player to resist when £s are thrown at you way above what we can pay. Dalby being an example.

Yes what I've read is training ground for £1 - it must be the new one as B&L is part of the FF housing development. The club has been bought for £1
Root Hall has been bought for £1 - is that right?
What about the training ground? Has that been bought for a £1 too? And if so what one? Boots and Laces or the new one that has nothing but dead grass?
Why would he be?Are we certain that "He who must not be named with the Blonde Quiff" is in no way involved in the new deal??
Collin?...you sure, defence looks so much more confident with Martin behind them! It's difficult for a player to resist when £s are thrown at you way above what we can pay. Dalby being an example.

So your saying Rons selling to Justin Rees, and Ron is part of the consortium of local businessmen along with Jack Martin, Glen Tamplin etc etcAre we certain that "He who must not be named with the Blonde Quiff" is in no way involved in the new deal??
Justin Rees steps out on the pitch at Roots Hall to greet the fans then pulls off a full skin-suit disguise and reveals himself to have been Ron Martin all along. If it is we need a Netflix documentary made quick because that would be an amazing cliff hanger to lead into Series 2
please ! please ! please ! we don`t need a second series after what has gone on series one is quite enough to take inSo your saying Rons selling to Justin Rees, and Ron is part of the consortium of local businessmen along with Jack Martin, Glen Tamplin etc etc

It'll be tied down to various stages of the development you would assumeAny thoughts on how JR and Consortium will tie RM down to honour the payment of £20 million? Wondered if this might be under a section 106 agreement attached to the granting of planning for the additional units were the stadium will now not be built?

I wonder if he'll be a debt holder - the debt within RH and the training ground? Why would he be?
I like David Martin for his knowledge, experience, coaching, but he can't be our future. But with his help Collin has the potential to be. I also prefer Collins confidence with his feet and agility, which I feel is Martin's weakness probably due to a combo of age and rustiness.Collin?...you sure, defence looks so much more confident with Martin behind them!
