Cheltenham Festival

Go me!!

Time for McCoy to shine this afternoon and here's hoping he can take Karabak to win the big one in half hour or so!

Kev

yh well done mate. Both Mine looked good 3 out, Deep Purple got squeezed into the fence, but Jyvole got me some money back with a place. McCoy is class

Although i'm only doing this for a giggle, i did have a look in Ladbrokes at the form etc... and nearly wrote Copper Blue down to win the first race so could have been 2 from 3. McCoy doesn't look in good shape as hurt his leg but not sure how this effects his riding in just 25 mins time. Karabak in to 8/1 but Songs of songs is drifting from 8 to 10's.

Kev

McCoy has his 2nd fall of the day as Songs of Songs was in 6th and was coming thru the field but Great Endeavour takes it with Sunny hill boy in 2nd!!

Kev

Had a whisper for this last friday,Tarkari 2-05,strong claims by all accounts, worth a fiver e/w.

Did this run the national last year?
I know the horse but can't remember much about it and I spotted it in the Standard last night...

I will have a quid each way.

He's never run in the National, but was 4th in a decent race at Cheltenham last year.

The horse gets more media coverage than he probably merits as his owner - Lord Oaksey - used to be a Channel 4 Racing presenter and does a lot of work for the Injured Jockey Fund.

So, punters... who's it going to be: Kauto Star or Denman?

And why do some people pronounce "Kauto" as "Kayto"? Is it so that it rhymes with "Tayto"?

It's Kauto Star for me and I have just backed him. However, if a do an e/w L15 today, then I may have Tricky Trickster for the Gold Cup.
