Question Cheap Jeans UK

Skinflints and smalltimers you both are, as that pair of jeans are APC's and about £80. I'd recommend saving up, but if you don't want to spend that much, try Uniqlo

Go raw/dry and don't wash them for as long as you can stand (most say 6 months but it really doesn't matter too much).

i think regading people who dont spend £80+ on jeans as skinflints and smalltimers is well, odd.

I'd fathom that being 28, owing your own house and having a mortgage etc would make you more big time than being 36, living at your mums and wearing £120 jeans

(im not saying you do btw, just an example)

Back in the days when I was flush (eg before kid and wife) I spent loads on jeans and personally I think you get what you pay for.

I got a pair of Diesel Levans for £75 which was a touch and they last ages and were great. Fitted lovely, last forever and the birds loved em too.

Got some Boss ones on at the moment which i have had two years and again they are as they day I brought them.
Diesel Levans - great jeans, I have a pair myself :) also got them at a sale price, similar to you. Great for knocking about in, they seem indestructable

I'd say that one is more in debt than the other!!

(ps I'm saying that as someone with mortgage debt!)

bump - popped into uniqlo earlier and the selvedge denim is £30 - ridiculously cheap if it fits you.

Being 28 and owning your own house doesn't make you 'big time' if you are stepping out in the kind of jeans that if dropped into East Germany circa 1985 would have been thrown straight back over the Berlin wall in disgust.

exactly - surely the only big timers wear Farah slacks and Gabicci polos?
