We have all the time in the world, well i do anyway[b said:Quote[/b] (Andy_S @ April 03 2006,20:17)]There's plenty more, but I'd be here all night!
I was sitting next to his table at a bar here in Jávea last summer (I think he has a place out here because I've seen him a few times). Having had more than a few cerveza's, I was going to start up a conversation about his patronising "one man and his dog attendance" comment about the Southend v Canvey FA Cup tie when a young relative of his (son? grandson? nephew?) who was about 5 or 6 years old starting dancing to the music in the bar. Everyone smiled especially when he started to gyrate Elvis-style in time with the music. Lawrenson started getting very agitated and kept telling this kid to stop as everyone was looking at them. Noticing Lawro being a tad uncomfotable with it all, I felt I could do nothing less than start clapping in time to the music to encourage the kid, persauding a couple of mates to do the same. The kid loved the attention; Lawro did not. I leant over and muttered "shame there wasn't just one man and his dog here, eh Lawro?". He probably had no idea what I was talking about but I felt good aftewards.[b said:Quote[/b] (Slipperduke @ April 03 2006,11:10)]Mark Lawrenson. Hands down the most irritating, pointless man on the planet. What does he do? He doesn't tell me anything I don't know, he doesn't seem to enjoy his job, he just whines about everything.
Good point. I'm glad it's not just me.[b said:Quote[/b] (The Artful Shrimper @ April 03 2006,18:16)]Also, i know its a cartoon and you shouldn't hit kids, but that thing that pops up and says " Express Delivery " waving a newspaper, i'd give him a clip round the ear. Rather have kids writing unreadable graffitti with cheap bling on bus shelter windows than that little creep.
Yes, absolutely both.[b said:Quote[/b] (glasgowsufc @ April 04 2006,09:50)]That Natasha Kaplinsky wannabe (Kate somebody) who's on BBC Breakfast this week.
Kaplinksy herself (self-important little slut)
Kate Silverton's the name. And I agree with the general sentiment here.[b said:Quote[/b] (C C Csiders @ April 04 2006,10:00)]Yes, absolutely both.[b said:Quote[/b] (glasgowsufc @ April 04 2006,09:50)]That Natasha Kaplinsky wannabe (Kate somebody) who's on BBC Breakfast this week.

The Kate bird is apparently a complete nightmare to work with. She came from an advertising background, and arrived at the BBC full of her own self-importance.
Anyway, the experienced newscaster, Philip Hayton walked out on the BBC (News 24) as he could go on no longer working with her diva-ish behaviour.
Oh, and Kaplinsky is a complete minger.
brought a smile to my face, nice story[b said:Quote[/b] (Xàbia Shrimper @ April 03 2006,20:54)]I was sitting next to his table at a bar here in Jávea last summer (I think he has a place out here because I've seen him a few times).
