Noticing Lawro being a tad uncomfotable with it all, I felt I could do nothing less than start clapping in time to the music to encourage the kid, persauding a couple of mates to do the same. The kid loved the attention; Lawro did not. I leant over and muttered "shame there wasn't just one man and his dog here, eh Lawro?". He probably had no idea what I was talking about but I felt good aftewards.

The Kate bird is apparently a complete nightmare to work with. She came from an advertising background, and arrived at the BBC full of her own self-importance.

Anyway, the experienced newscaster, Philip Hayton walked out on the BBC (News 24) as he could go on no longer working with her diva-ish behaviour.

Oh, and Kaplinsky is a complete minger.
