Celeb spotting

Pages torn out of FHM don't count mate.

No, no, in the flesh, praise the Lord Carl Griffiths (though not in her flesh, I'm sorry to say).

And to celebrate my 3,000th post (ffs I am a severely sad barsteward), here is a picture of her looking fit:

Saw Terry Waite at Liverpool Street some years ago, bizarrely not chained to radiator. Pierluigi Collina at Frankfurt airport. They didn't have boobs like Scarlett though.... :(

2 Saturdays ago Lemar was a guest a charity function I was the DJ/Auctioneer at

and last Satuday Daniella Westbrook (does she count) was a guest at a wedding I DJ'd at

although not recently i once met carol vorderman in millbank studio's, donna air at mtv, alastair stewart and Sir Trevor McDonald at ITN, and most importantly and no one can beat this i used to be neighbours with Ron Martin!

I was once stopped and asked directions by Bryan Robson just after he became manager of Middlesbrough. Admittedly he's not much of a celebrity but it amused me that he was driving round Middlesbrough looking for the Swallow Hotel - which is in Stockton. Perhaps explains why is managerial career has never been a great success.

Got a lecturer who has half the Gloucester rugby squad on his phone and a couple of ex-players too, another who worked for the local radio station, and the director of a upcoming Top Gear segment (James Bond meets Top Gear - God help us) came in to lead a workshop today. Do they count?

Not recently, but I was invited to Michelle Bass's private Birthday party in London a couple of years back.

I've seen loads of people in and around London; nasty nick from ee, loads of people from all the big brother series, John Fashnu, Beyonce, Neyo (playing in mayhem tonight, actually!) Been to the national television awards (inside the building and met loads of people in there).

So yeah, I've seen a few celebs.

1) Who?
2) Not celebrities.
3) Who?

It's hardly Tony Hadley or Nik Kershaw now, is it.

Oh God! I'm a clot, I forgot my trump cards.

James Marsters (yes, the British vamp with the peroxide hair from Buffy, or the computer construct from Smallville, or the Other Captain from Torchwood) and Eve Myles (the Welsh bint from Torchwood, recently guested on Merlin and the S4 finale of Doctor Who). I've got their autographs.

1-0.

I met Arnold, Sly and Bruce Willis at the opening of Planet Hollywood - not recent but I just like to mention it. And I didn't just stand near them - spoke to them all, especially Sly who was very cool, very affable and totally off his tits. I've also shagged Kim Marsh/Ryder. So there.

And I've seen Santiago Cabrerra, Tawny Cypress, John Barrowman, Kai Owen (Eve's husband on Torchwood), the guy who was actually in the Darth Vader costume, James Earl Jones (unless he was the guy in the Darth Vader costume), plenty of others as well that I can't remember, at a recent convention in the MK shopping centre (or a shopping centre at any rate). The queue for John... The humans qued up one by one, hurrah, hurrah...

David Prowse.

Which reminds me, saw 'Enry Cooper up at MK shopping centre and Adam (Ian Beale) Woodyatt in Waitrose.

That's the one. Bit before my time, the originals. Saw Return in the cinema when they were rereleased in 97, but other than that, only seen them on DVD.

Saw Star Wars (even before it was called A New Hope!) in Romford ABC in 1977, once with my parents (who fell asleep) and once with my older brother who used a 6 year old kid so he didn't look out of place in a supposed "kids film" :D
