C2C ****ed. Again

Useless ****ing Network Rail engineers were supposed to have fixed the signals yesterday.

Relieved to have been working from home the past few weeks then!

Normally a very good line as well.

they don't think it'll be sorted for this evening! great! looks like I'll be going from liverpool street to southend vic and ****ing about in southed again tonight then

Just looked it up - it's an intermittant fault, not to mention smack back in a dangerous bit of track that requires a total block to all trains which C2C won't grant. Barking S&T are the people you can spit at (their depot is just off of the station).

Don't look at it, fix it!

If this is happening between Barking and Fenchurch why are C2C not using the platforms at Liverpool Street? It makes no sense.

Tell your mates if it's not fixed by this evening I will hunt them down for sport.

Jeez, that'd be virtually impossible at such short notice, especially during the peak. Liverpool St may have 18 platforms but only 6 (IIRC) lines going into the station throat (and two of those head off to Stanstead/Cambridge).

I've passed on the message!

In my job, if something went wrong due to an intermittent fault, I would be getting told to make sure Plan B was in place in case anything else was needed.

It all just seems a bit "make it up as we go along".

Doesn't matter though, they're locked in for 15 years and if they give everyone a cream egg everything will be better.

To be fair C2C is a good service, I use a lot of trains and C2C is very reliable normally.

I do like Creme Eggs though.

An the impact on Greater Anglia having to cancel services to accomodate a different TOC? Maybe in the days of British Rail that may of happened.....:whistling:
