Any idea of what week replays are due to be played. Would be good to get a good turn out for that, although as a midweek game in December, will be a big ask! Depends if we get a massive home draw tomorrrow and only replay ticket holders can attempt to buy...

Would hope us loyal shareholders would get a look in along with the season ticket holders though!

Replays are usually the Tuesday week after the game so possibly the 11th. The club's AGM is on the Monday 10th December.

On a completely personal basis ...................a home draw against Hastings or Harrowgate please. Will certainly be working in Toulouse at the time of the Third Round games so I'd like an easy pass to the Fouth Round, when we can draw Arsenal and I'll return to see it. That, of course, providing we win the replay. Luggy is not supremely confident, thinking that we may have blown our chance today, of causing a mini Cup upset.

I was checking to see whether there could be any solid reasoning behind Luggy's fear that we may have blown our chance against Bury. Thought that this may be something to do with the fixture list but in the end found that there is a kind of symmetry between the two clubs games, leading up to the replay.

Southend United v Brentford (JPT) Bury v Preston (JPT)


Saturday 8th December

Fleetwood v Southend United (L2) Leyton Orient v Bury (L1)


Thus both of us have home JPT games and both of us face a long trip on Saturday. If there is any advantage, it is probably ours due to the fact that Bury face a second long trip south in four days, for the replay.........unless,of course, they stay over? There again that would surely prove too expensive?
