Hot news from Bury --- the only hot thing there --- there will be a tribute on Tuesday night for Mitchell Cole.

The 14th minute tribute today was a SZ/TZ organised chant.

TZ have 2 coaches for Daggers on Boxing Day, don't forget to book your travel seats as railways will not be running.

Coach tickets booked online. I guess the coaches come back straight after the game.

For all my fears aside........ that we will get a great draw, only to go out in the replay, it sounded a really good performance.
Our form appears to have carried on, even without Assombalonga and Mkandawire.......Laird clearly still making a difference in midfield. Tomlin proves that he can still do it without Britt. Just hope that we will not rue the post that denied us a victory at the death.

Currently on the 'metrolink' towards Manchester.

Have to say overall it was a good display and we very nearly grabbed a victory at the death.

We perhaps deserved to be behind at half time. They converted one penalty and Cresswell could arguably have been guilty of conceding another. Tomlin's goal came out of nowhere, but from 150 yards away it looked superb.

Second half we were immense. The work rate was phenomenal, real end-to-end stuff. We didn't really test their keeper too much, but the momentum certainly felt like it was with us and I felt we were going to get a goal. We so nearly did. So did theyjust minutes before...and perhaps they too will feel disappointed not to win.

Standout player for me was Laird whose workrate was incredible, special mention to Timlin as well who is a superb player when at his best. The weak links for me were those who don't normally feature: Freddy and Martin who were both largely ineffective.

And the fans definitely deserve a mention today: a long trip and freezing cold but the atmousphere was probably the best I've bseen this season.

Any idea of what week replays are due to be played. Would be good to get a good turn out for that, although as a midweek game in December, will be a big ask! Depends if we get a massive home draw tomorrrow and only replay ticket holders can attempt to buy...

Would hope us loyal shareholders would get a look in along with the season ticket holders though!

Surely we want a big away draw. A home game wont generate anything compared to an away game to one of the big clubs.

Knowing how we do things we will get Arsenal or Man Utd away and then lose the replay anyway:smile:
