Yeah, I'm really surprised at the price of them, I expected 10 million at most but it seems not.

The Flying Ferrets have just bought an exquisite for 10.5million. Not looking forward to bowling at him.

Because not so many are being listed, for fear of them not selling and people losing the listing fee, the prices seem to be going up again.

Seems crazy that I bought Suthers 8 weeks towards Wonderful for £4m! I was thinking about dumping an all rounder to boost batting but seeing as Suthers will hit masterful in the next few weeks & stop training and Plummer will hit wonderful at 19 shortly and will single net onwards I'm going to have 9 nets to throw into batting. Like it.

That was on a GFI, and only 3 seamers (Superb / Remarkable x 2, and Wonderful / Exceptional )

Personally, I try and veer away from top-end prospects and get players who don't need as much training. Paying a premium for what a player could be, isn't worth it, and I'd rather pay for what a player is already like.

Yep, he's an option though. No remarkable+ bowlers have been listed today. Very annoying. No doubt the Aussies would cry sabotage if I bought him as he wouldn't get U-19 nets.

I'd like to help you out more but it'd detract from my own transfer targets if nobody outbids me on Thomas. How much you got with the £2million from Thomas so far?

I sit third in both leagues which considering my recent run is not bad. This is where the £2m for Saxby will become good value as it will enable me to maintain fitness so much easier without fielding a plodder in important matches. FC may be a step too far now but I still fancy us to get a play off in the OD (and I won't be overly concerned if I don't win it!).

I've £7.1m in the bank, so that takes me up to £9.1m.

The bloke who bid on him is now off-line, so I think if I can get another £1m, I should be able to secure him.

If I don't get Montgomery, I think I'll probably try and buy Thomas. How much will that cost?

I'm desperately scanning my squad to see who I could get away with listing!
