Two more league defeats and i reckon RM will pull the plug on PB, on the other hand two wins and Browns top man again, maybe.
Would that be the one that has gained us £2m this summer
I know you support and defend Brown, but I can't agree with that.
Bentley and Payne were always great prospects that were here a long time before Brown was. They were youth products and whilst yes, he did well developing them, you can't incorporate them into his 'transfer policy'.
Tilson paid £40k for Eastwood and sold him for £1.5m. £175k for Bailey and sold him for £750k. Hooper for free, sold him for £175k plus substantial add ons. I know he also signed his fair share of duds, but those are examples of a decent transfer policy. I can't think of one of Brown's signings that we've sold for profit.
I think PB needs to pull his finger out pronto!
BUT...as quoted above, there are people who have always had a"dislike" of a manager who has increased our league standing every season he has been here and managed us to arguably the greatest day in our history.,
Yes PB is running out of Brownie Points but this post tells the truth - some dislike him on a personal basis.
Yes I dislike Brown on a personal level. I don't think is a very nice bloke and I think has shown a lot of disrespect to the team the club and definately alienated certain players out of the football club.
There are lots of managers I haven't liked much but if the team is playing with pride passion and commitment then the manager is doing his job. That on Saturday wasn't just tactically inept it was devoid of effort and commitment and I won't tolerate that.
We have had plenty of **** over the yeas and tilly managed to get distinctly average players playing well above themselves. Brown does the opposite. Gets good players looking devoid of belief and drained of quality.
Leonard and coker being prime examples.
Strange you say you don't kike Brown, but as your stats prove you don't like anybody. But then you claim Brown has assembled a better squad than Tilson without spending any transfer money.
So are you saying keep Brown in a 'Director of Football' position and get in someone just to coach the team
I'm confused?
When I have said Brown has a better squad? He certainly has been given a better budget than tilly could have dreamt of. The team that got us promoted as champions was made up of very average players who played out of their skin each week to grind out wins. Freddy aside we had no superstars. In fact I'd say that the team that ambled to a play off promotion under Brown was a better squad man for man than the one that won the league title in league 1. Freddy was the difference.
Brown has had some real talent and backing to work with and has not used or got the best out of players.
The effort level on Saturday was criminal. That to me says the team are either not responding to his coaching or they are not prepared to play for him. When that happens you need a new team or a new manager.

Prove it.
How about a list of players bought by each manager

1.7m 2004 - just under 3m 2014
That's from the published accounts.
Anything else you want to make up?
No need Tommy, Westy has already called rigsby out on this.
Tilson was lucky to take us up. Brush was the main guy and Tilson got lucky with the Eastwood signing.
Please bear in mid 1.7m in 2004 was worth a lot lot more than that 10 years later- and in that time wages grew substantially (probably well above inflation). And thats if the numbers are right.
I can tell you already that everyone will produce "facts" that prove they are right and others are wrong- the exercise is pointless. Whether PB gets the best out of players will be a case in point as will whether Tilly did (Hooper anyone?). Just all pointless, as is the whole Brown out debate. He will get to Xmas at least come what may I suspect (Ron waited for two successive relegations before getting rid of Tilly). And I am pretty confident by then things will be much rosier anyway (my view- hope I'm right).
The only benefit I can see of having a demo would be to identify who to give new seats in away end to... probably do wonders for the atmosphere around me.
Not really. I've read endless posts about PB's budget by people who haven't got a clue, but claim otherwise. Well in true tradition, does anyone want a bet with the winnings going to shrimperzone.
How about this if anyone wants to back £3m in 2014 I'll give you 10/1 minimum bet £10.
How about a straight bet on £2m....any takers.
