The clubs and the league have little, or no regard to fans and in my opinion they would be happy if away fans never turned up.
Sad that such a well supported ex premier league club has such a poor pitch.
Bradford could surely have paid for an inspection yesterday, and why the decision was delayed this morning is a farce.

You can't call a game off based on an impending forecast for the next day...

What if it doesn't happen and the conditions are fine for football.

It's terrible for the fans, I have plenty of sympathy for them, but you need to make it last minute so the game has every chance of being played.

I can't believe they didn't cover the pitch last night/earlier in the week with the weather they've been having up north recently.

We dont have a great record with nothern games and late call offs..

Bury Accrington Stanely and now this....

Time to f_uck off home now. What's an antonym for happiness? Perhaps "well and truly cheesed off" fits ......

Thanks for the information on the pitch inspection - saved me a few miles travelling at least.

Got all the way to Bury (and Accers before that) before the game was postponed so at least that is an improvement.

Ooooh well, At least Bentley kept a clean sheet today, and we havent lost a league match so far in December!!

Allows us time to get players back from injury... Bradford might be in less form by then. There may be some silver linings here.

Definitely, sucks for the fans who travelled and will face a Tuesday night if they go to the rearranged game, but Bradford are in great form and we're still missing some important players.

Only negative will be that Millwall will have been the only game we've played in 20 days, so wouldn't be surprised if there's a friendly against some reserves or local non league team to try to stop any rustiness.

No rest for the wicked, according to SUFC Twitter, the team are heading back down the M1 to train in Sheffield.

Thoughts go out to one particular chap, that is on the SZ Coach and flew in from Australia !!

Happens every Winter, doesn't it? Maybe someone with a bit of common sense could be employed in reviewing match fixtures!

Our weather is so unpredictable though, you would need to consider the whole of autumn, winter and part of spring

True, IMO (obviously weather permitting) on one hand, I would ideally like the match to be re-scheduled for as soon as possible before other teams get to play on the pitch and turn it into a real quagmire before we get there. Tuesday 22nd December, looks a good date as we would have a days rest over them as we play on the Friday before and them on the Saturday. On the other hand, we could run the risk of injuries before our Col Utd boxing game fixture.

Yeah, guy from Brisbane. To be fair, they offered to give him a signed football.

On upside to all this is that we can spend more time savoring the fact that Col U are already 0-2 down at home to former bottom club Barnsley, and they now are 23rd in the league....roll on Boxing Day!

Came in from painting the house outside (15° and sunny here) at 3.50CET when I threw my wife off the computer (gently). Went directly to Blues Player and tried to log on, WTF I thought, seeing next game Bury at home! Ready for a big rant against BP, I went to SZ and saw the news. My inconvenience is nothing compared with all the poor sods who made the trip up north for nothing. Haven't been on SZ today so it came as a complete surprise.
Would imagine that PB will immediately searching for a competitive game against someone, Tuesday or Wednesday.

Now the scums in the bottom 4 where they belong - I know they have crap defence but I am wary about their threat going forward, they score goals. If we keep them out in one end, we will beat them in another end.
