That maybe true but is any of the current shower of s*** going to overtake his goal to game ratio? Doubtful i'd say!
So you honestly think when he has played for us he has looked effective?!
LOL... cannot believe some of the people on here sometimes (a lot of the time!).
Bradbury gets constantly slagged off and told he isnt good enough, soon as he leaves its like "What is Tilly doing?" etc etc...
We have a crop of average to bad strikers - we need to GET RID of a few asap in order to bring some quality in.
Dont cry about Bradders going - I have no doubt he will be followed by Paynter, Hooper and maybe one other (Foran?) before the end of August and we will have one or maybe two better forwards in.
Good luck Lee and thanks for your service!
Excellent post. Tilly and Ron can't do anything right at the moment in some people's eyes. The fact is the majority of strikers that have been signed have not produced the goods and Tilly has acknowledged this and is showing the door to this group. People keep screaming that Harrold and Paynter should be shown the door first - what if nobody else wants these players? We can't afford to just release these players on a free - we would have to buy them out of their contracts - more cash wasted.
There was interest in Bradbury so he's going. Nice bloke, worked his socks off but ultimately not what the club needs. The club appear to be paving the way for new faces - looks promising that we might have new goal threat.

Its offical I just got a text!
Official that he's gone? Or that its possible?
Byfield in?
I'm quite shocked by all this, IMO he was the best striker we had (and i'm not getting drawn into a debate whether certain players have more potential or not been given a chance) .. simply put, if i had to list our CURRENT strikers in order for a starting spot Bradders would be number one..
Surely this can only mean Tilly has someone lined up, and if it is Byfield there's no need to rush anything as he wouldn't be allowed to play tomorrow anyway

agreed. if you look at the other thread 'starting line up for tomorrow' Bradbury starts for nearly everyone if not all.
Has this actually been said anywhere apart from on this board??? Everyone keeps going on about Easter and Byfield, yet the only place I have heard that is on this board, has anyone got any credible information?
