Bradbury Leaving!?!

Poor timing, but overall not a devastating move.

He's good at what he does, But what he does is what several players in the midfield (Black and Bailey) are supposed to be doing. We need, now more than ever since Eastwood left, 2 strikers capable of scoring 15+ goals playing up front. MacDonald I feel is capable of this, but Bradbury isn't.

Lee does try and fight but his lack of goals, speed and energy makes him surplus to requirements!

Football these days is all about speed and energy and IF our aim is to end up back in the Championship then Lee doesn’t fit this mould!!

Lee will be a good L2 player for someone!!

Paynter and Harrold should be first to go though!!

Bradders has done better in the games he has played than the others. Which I believe is actually only one coz Bradders/Harrold was never going to work, dont think he played against the O's (I didnt go so dont know) and the other he got a hat trick.

MaccyD hasnt been given a chance.
Hooper didnt do very much even at reserve level.
Paynter, well there you go. We are apparently still waiting.
Harrold, oh dear.

Ok, his hat trick might have been a fluke but I would have thought either of the bottom two above should be going on loan.

It seems at the mo that if you have a good game, you either get dropped or you go out on loan.

Lets hope we bring in someone then if we are letting people go and not have the usual "ah well, we tried but alas...."

If we dont get at the very least one proven decent striker in before the transfer window then im afraid we're gonna be involved in a relegation battle. We went down from this division with Rammell and Thompson upfront and the forwards we have at the mo arnt even as good as them!!

I think he is under rated and will defo be missed if he goes

agreed... getting rid of him (on loan apparently) must MUST mean that someone is on there way in. if it is byfield, easter or someone better then fine but IMO we need someone proven and who can jump straight into a sinking ship and start bailing us out

Let's get rid of the really sh!t strikers before Bradders. He may not be the fastest but has a good footballing brain, whereas Harrold doesn't even have a brain!!

I just got to say how can anyone who as ever watched football(let alone manage a pro team) can say Harrold is better than anyone we got, bradders is twice as good as him, I would rather have stevie wonder up front than harrold, why is our only target man being let go, I hope that someone is coming in to replace him.

surprised if he does go - 3 games into the season, he's scored a hat-trick in one and started against Leeds

what more does he want

unless he knows about the elusive '20 goals a season' striker that we're signing and wants out.....

In my opinion Bradders could prove to be a big loss if our forward situation stays as it is. Other would surely be on the list before Bradders to go.

Haven't Bournemouth been linked with him before?

Can't help but think this is a stupid move unless we have a replacement ready and waiting to sign on the dotted line! Harrold should be in my opinion the first to go! He offers nothing! I'm not Bradders biggest fan but he is good at what he does!

Oh dear, things go from bad to worse. Very bad move, Paynter and Harrold are both below Bradbury in terms of ability. Despite his lack of goals him being absent with injury last year played a big part in our 17 game winless run.

I am sure that Bardbury and MacDonald would be an OK partnership at this level that would probably get 25-30 goals between them.

Lets hope that its someone better coming in, if not we have probably let one of our better players go.

harrold reminds me of danny webb, and the thought of having to pay upto £18 a pop to watch a **** like that ?? nId rather watch Hale and Pace

couldn't we send Harrold instead. Tell him to tell Bournemouth "sorry Lee couldn't make it so you've got me instead".

Bradders is from the South Coast so maybe he wants to return nearer to home.

In terms of goal attempts I don't think he is good enough for the team but we have far worse strikers at the club.
