Thats very kind. We have a great fan base and home and away our support is brilliant for this level. Im nothing special just a fan the same as anyone else. But we are safe and the car will get repaired so hopefully will make it to Boston for the rearranged date. Knew many that made it up there so feel bad for those people

Mad they make offers like that. My wife accepted that once (before we were married), was only a few hundred quid worth of bumper damage and it was like getting blood from a rock.

I echo others comments @shrimperjon, it's good that you and yours were unharmed. Did you have a dash cam on board with a rear camera? Photographic evidence is always so useful when rear end shunts are involved.

I dont have those, but there was a Highway Traffic Oficer/car around 10 behind us who saw what went on. I have there details so have the support if i need it and also a case number

Now here's a thing.
I received a DAZN survey request with the options; 'good: satisfied' and 'bad: unsatisfied'. I hit the latter to be told: "
"This request is now closed.
"Unfortunately, that means the ticket can no longer be rated". This was sent at 23.03 last night; I tried responding at midday, today, Thursday.
Anybody else?
Are they really this unaccountable? Is there no way of getting a pukka response?

Wasn’t there tonight but sounded very similar to Bury away when the rain came rather than fog. One minute fine then completely flooded and streams running on the pitch within 5 mins. Lucky was living in Manc so not far to go home.

I was going to say that I don't think I have been at a game that has been abandoned ..... but your post triggered my memory.

I remember that game - all was well until a mini-monsoon just before the game. The game started but it was clear the ball wasn't travelling across parts of the pitch within minutes of the start. The rain was still falling & the game was abandoned.

I think I remember Phil Brown coming across to the away fans to clap us before we headed out of the ground.
