Not the nearby overcrowded Spoons with not enough bar staff. There is one nearer the station, can't remember the name. A few of us will be staying in London, then straight to the ground.
The Good companion has been recommended by some. On route from the station, bigger than the spoons further down and has football on

My son's football team coach sent a message on the team's WhatsApp group this week saying that we can get 50% off tickets with a code. That only works for home tickets.

We better win otherwise my son is going to cop it from his teammates tomorrow.

And today's friendly weather forecast for Boreham is here. Don't forget your pacamacs (anyone remember those) for the journey home.

it's a difficult one to get to grips with. JD was playing in Ralph's position but JD was also a player registered as emergency cover on a non player contract basis, and Ralph was also playing on a non contract basis. Don't know the terms on which Brooklyn is playing. Similarly, Martin was emergency cover for Collin then Hayes was emergency cover for Collin when Martin got unjured.
it seems so e things are possible, but I've no idea what.
I can understand how other clubs are questioning our ability to get players in, because of how it looks, but to be fair, we are threadbare due to the embargo and injuries, and if the league had any commitment to player welfare they would approve requests due to the obvious fact we have hardly any subs and those we have are being thrown into games. Sure, we are making the most of the rules a little with keeping Hayes when Martin could play, but both WERE only emergency non contract cover as we have no keeper for a while and we haven't put them both in the matches squads together.
Just my personal view, but I feel the NL decision makers are uncaring txssers!
however it doesn't help our cause I'm the league's eyes if any registered player who is actually fit makes themselves unfit for purpose.
I'm as confused by anyone what we're allow to do under this embargo. But I see this written a lot, and as I just said I don't know what's permitted or what [reasonable] requests have been rejected but I feel it paints the league as the bad guys kind of unjustly.

Frankly player welfare is just as much if not more so our responsible and I could imagine the leagues response being, if it's that bad you can always forfeit, and if they did step in for the sake of player welfare I can much sooner see them forfeiting games on our behalf rather than give us any special treatment and I don't think that's unfair. It's just the position we're in and we have Ron to thank.

Maybe some of you can school me on how petty the league have been. I'm not fully aware of everything but that's how I see it.
