It seems a minefield of the national Leagues creation. They are quite militant and if we achieve promotion this season it would be very much a middle finger to their draconian rule book.
Mickey Mouse league. About time they reorganised themselves into Division 4 three up and three down.

I'm sure kev and Co know what and who they want and asap , I just can't see a future at sufc for a couple of players once the embargo is lifted.
So the starting 11 is the one that will give everything ... after Saturday a well earned rest for all ...
We Will need a rest, Chesterfield next! :Footballer::Gun:

Borehamwood have picked a few Daggers players in Balanta and others who cant remember who are pretty decent. Before there last game against the Daggers they haven't been in great form but got a 3 - 1 victory so there confidence is high.If we can play with the same intensity as we usually done in the last 3 games I fancy we can earn all 3 points. However dont think that Husin will have the freedom of the park and anticipate that young Kanu will receive some meaty tackles from their defence.Really looking forward to this one with a huge backing for the team cant wait ,fingers crossed we all see a decent performance including the referee

Tough test this one and no doubt another bruising encounter played out over 35 minutes.

Carve out a result Saturday and we really are beginning to make progress.
Probably a stupid question, but what happened to the other 55 minutes of the game?

It's never easy going to Boreham Wood. Regardless of where they are in the league they are always a robust team (code for kicking the **** out of footballing sides) and we will need to match them on the well hard side. I'd be happy with a point, and anything else will be a bonus. Another down side is the artificial turf which we do tend to struggle on. That sounds all very pessimistic, but we do need to heed the signs and not just rock up and expect to take the points without a struggle.

After out recent struggles on the plastic, I noticed how Bromley use that extra half a second for the tennis ball bounce factor.

There big lads at the back used that time to get another stride or two in and tackle or block. For the likes of Mooney in the first half the ball never seems to roll on the floor where he wanted it.

On a positve note lets hope Kanu uses it to steal the ball instead.

But j d was injuresd before tuesday night so was not included in thhe match day squad .Nor wui;; he be for many weeks .So on t
that bases Ralph shou;d be included on the bench at boreham .

It might be that we didn't have the evidence together by Tues to prove JD is a long term injury - just a guess

Tickets secured and looking forward to this one. A tricky test awaits but hopefully we have enough left in the locker for one last big effort before a well earned rest.

All aboard the Southend freight train! 🚂

If we can weather the national League hurricane (deduction and embargo) and get another couple of wins, then I really fancy us for the play offs.

These are the type of games where we really need to somehow find a way to win.

We are definitely due a win at their place.

Looking forward to another away day.

Team unchanged if possible.
My eldest son and I both think we could be back in the playoff places by Christmas.

Before the season started my son said BW would struggle this season because of the new directives given to referees around not putting up with any antics. It seems he being proved right.

Awful club, with a bunch of thugs for supporters; going all the way back to 2010 and a fractious Isthmian final with Kingstonian;

"With the scores level at 0-0, K’s captain Francis Duku was the victim of a violent attack from a Boreham Wood fan, who jumped over the railings, punched Duku in the face and simply jumped back over unopposed by any stewards.
"Police then escorted the man out of the stadium.
"Kingstonian have since launched an appeal to the FA, saying that the incident had affected the players’ performance and had contributed to their defeat.
"Manager Alan Dowson said the game should be replayed ‘to restore football’s reputation.’ He also said earlier this week, “I’ve never seen anything like it in all my life. It is has spoilt the whole season and I feel very sorry for the supporters,” The appeal is still pending under an FA inquiry." ....nothing was done

...and

I was at the game, and the press and visiting directors area was equally under the cosh.
They are not very accommodating to press in general.
