there you go - well done!

Shame about HRK, would have loved him back here, very good player.

Its amazing how peoples opinions of Robson-Kanu changed after he scored a couple of goals.

Not having a pop at you fredheim, but there was a lot of negativity towards him when he first came in.

I'd be delighted if Grant came in. Would be a good signing, along with Jamie Clapham.

Didn't change my opinion, looked pretty disinterested most of the time apart from a couple of games where he was on fire. Much prefer Grant.

Yeah, I understand where you're coming from. With him, I was never really for or against him, but he always seemed to have a touch of class that made me think he was destined for at least the championship.

Good point and there were similar posts made about Charlie Mulgrew IIRC, he subsequently became the must have player this summer.

But the 'better the devil you know' comment is hardly a ringing endorsement from Tilson. Clearly sees this bloke as someone to fill a seat on the bus.

Tilly aint got a clue on how to do interviews, he comes accross so badly.
UTB

Right on ! Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm not.

Paid to manage (which he does pretty well on a shoestring budget) and unlike other clubs doesn't rely on other members of coaching staff to do the talking, however poor.

I'm still not sold by Charlie. He still had a tendency to switch off although he did improve over the period he was here.

Mulgrew's class was evident from the very being, even if he was a little error prone.

Robson-Kanu did absolutely nothing when he played on the wing. Looked a little better when up front, but another case of popular because his name makes for an easy chant.

I would agree that Mulgrew's class was evident with his set-pieces and with some of his attacking play. But a 'class' defender? Not IMO

Agreed, I'd have been willing to see if he developed into a class defender though. Personally, I suspect his best position will eventually be a Gareth Barry type role in centre-mid.

Would loved to have signed him up also. I'm sure his defensive play would have improved. It's a shame we couldn't have brought Mulgrew and Clapham in, and given Herd the opportunity to go out on loan to get some regular first team experience.

Well, he's obviously not too happy at Aston Villa, and it's doubtful that he's going to Liverpool, so you never know!

:D

If we miss out on grant to walsall that shows that there is real problems behind the scenes, with money, i no the purse stings will be tight with the new stadium looming, but this is ridiculus
