Bugger! the way things are going Crewe could well overhaul Cheltenham for sixth place. The final two matches, if we ignore the highly unlikely possibility of taking an automatic place, are starting to take on a significance that I hadn't imagined.

Crewe are in the sort of form we were in when we were last in the play offs :winking:

All I care about is we have cemented 5th spot (bar a total tonking in the last 2 games) and guaranteed the 2nd leg at home.

Now all we need is Cheltenham to hold 6th spot (Crewe would be a trek at midday on a Sunday and they are on super form)

Hopefully we'll get a point at least next weekend and finish Oxford off as well.
With Torquay being only 3 ahead of us with a comparatively rubbish goal difference, having not won in their last 3, and with them playing Crewe next there is a good chance we could finish 4th if we beat Oxford, so it's too early to know where we want Cheltenham to finish.

Well I dont know about you, but I would rather face Cheltenham than any other of the potential opponents.

We have beaten Crewe this season already, both times they were utter gash though clearly they have improved in the last couple of months. Theyd be my pick but truth be told we are going to have to beat 2 out of the 3 teams so does it really matter?

I thought we bullied Crewe when we played them. May be different now that dicko is injured

We will finish 3rd with had lady luck on our side today so hope that happens next week also. WE CAN DO THIS

Of course WE CAN DO THIS.............the problem is that THEY HAVE TO DO THIS...........talking of Torquay and Crawley. Still very unlikely.............but the odds have shortened slightly, following today's games
