My only real bit of luck other than the odd bottle of plonk was last year. My Dad talked me into entering a phone in competition in The Sun. I was pulled out of the hat & won a 3 week trip for 2 to Oz to watch the last two Test matches in Melbourne & Sydney. This included flights, Hotels (ldnfatso might disagree on that description for Sydney, but Melbourne was 4/5 star!) tickets for every day of cricket, transfers etc & Xmas dinner! I also spent a day in Beijing in the best hotel there!

The brochure price for that trip was £6K, but including Xmas dinner & a few other bits thrown in, came to a bit more than that!

The year before my Dad entered a Rugby competition in The Sun, with answers I gave him & he won, a pair of tickets for England v Canada & England v South Africa at Twickenham. He also got a rugby ball signed by Martin Johnson & a crate of Tetley! I think a lot of the Tetley hasn't been drunk yet!!
