Just seen Daniel Bentley's tweets, I don't know if I'm reading into it too much but to me it looks like he's off

(before anyone says it, I know his off on holiday but that's not what I meant)

I dont think there is anything in the tweets at all - just thanking everyone and pleased he was part of promotion!

Reading far too much into it. Dan has always been very humble and I think he's being very genuine in thanking people but I certainly don't read it as a goodbye.

Didn't he post something very similar at the end of last season?

Think you're reading far too much into it personally.

I dont wish to add fuel to speculation but if you look at the filthy tattoo's on his arms then one is of a bird in flight. Thats it then. He is off. You cannot wish to see more compelling evidence beyond a signed statement from him. I have no idea how so many of you missed this!

I still think he'll give it a year, I can't see him leaving if it involves relocating but the West Ham rumour is a worry.

From what ive been told he will be here at the start of the season unless a sunstantial bid is placed , if the's clubs valuation price was 1m plus before the play off final then im sure that will of increased with him doing well in both televised games .

No matter how good he is i don;t think we could turn down a 1.5 Mill bid plus add on's , that would basically enable us to build a squad that would be able to compete at League one level and secure our finances for a bit .

So in a butshell if a club like West ham are interested in him , they will be told what teh club value him at and its just whether they decide to take a gamble on him at that price

Dan's one of those rare players who we all accept will go sooner or later and with our blessings. We know he'll always love the club & be a shrimper at heart but I think Saturday showed he's not only talanted he's also got big game temperament with all the penalty shenanigans etc. He was in his element, and that won't go un-noticed by far bigger clubs. He deserves his chance at the top level, and lets face it, we need our youth system to be creating Dan Bentley's who we can sell on for (in his case) maybe 1 or 2 million. And we've got the next one coming down the conveyor belt in Ted Smith. Everyone's a winner!

West Ham, Brentford, Wolves, Leeds, Burnley & Bournemouth all watching Bentley. If he does go then so much interest will no doubt ensure we get a very good fee. Of those I'd actually prefer to see him go to West Ham though as our chances of a seasons loan back in L1 will be substantially higher. We'll see. Hope DB's still with us for one more year.
