Battrick - Matchday 9 (OD)

Some impressive ratings from Nick here:

Rehtakul Veets CC&FC Whos your Daddy
Top Order: wonderful exceptional
Middle Order: respectable strong
Lower Order: abysmal woeful
Seam Bowling: superb exceptional
Spin Bowling: remarkable strong
Fielding: mediocre mediocre

Just shows what he can do when he bothers to keep his team fit!

Made 338-4 on GFI, with my all-rounder being rested. My bowlers are suffering PFL wise now, will have to rest most if not all of them next week in FC. May just get myself a couple of competent spinners as I'm at home.

Oppo 192-5.

Mrs BB looks like she is going to finish 4th in that league, which when you look at the teams that are in there, is a pretty good finish for her.

And that's the end of the match. Pettefershire CCC won by 112 runs.
Pettefershire CCC 341-3
Lancs 229-10
End of Over 44: 229-10, runrate=5.20
Harmison 6-0-38-1
Denton* 21 (17 balls)

2 wins this week against teams who we have to be looking to beat if we're going to stay in V. job done, and so forth.

General Stars won the toss and elected to field.
Reporter's Summary
Red Roses General Stars
Top Order: quality proficient
Middle Order: competent superb
Lower Order: abysmal feeble
Seam Bowling: strong remarkable
Spin Bowling: competent quality
Fielding: woeful mediocre

MOTM: Lamb

Even my batting is starting to improve. Lost Philip and Browne but ended up winning by 8 wickets. Lamb finished up stranded on 96. Raven and Tapp didn't have to bat so thats a bit of a bonus. I think if i put my best batters at the top i'd probably have a quality top order with a prof middle order so although it doesn't look too great, its better than it shows.

8 points clear and now its a battle not to lose any more games and up the NRR!

Kev

Nick got a masterful seam rating last week when he played Anderson on his own with 4 spinners!

Just had a quick look and of the 5 teams directly abov you in the promotion table, 2 lost and the other three are still ongoing so will be very close.

Blew it - and now facing autorelegation - oh well - on the plus side - top of my SZ league - my star player takes 4-33 and a 122 for a trainee batsman.
