Battrick - League Match 8

Well seems that my promotion is on schedule, just played the 2nd placed team and this was the result

09/03/2007 (OD League) at Gambero C.C.
Larkmead Village 235-4 (50 overs)
Gambero C.C. 237-1 (36.2 overs)

So I am now 8pts clear with 32pts.

Have you ever thought of selling one of your many star batsmen and getting a decent bowler? I'm surviving ok at the moment with a quality and two superb bats!

I don't know how I would survive without my three remarkables, was thinking of selling a lowly 22 year old superb/superb bat,

Anyone interested? And how much shall I put him up for?

Made it home safely in the end. After losing Buckley and Stoner in consecutive balls early on it looked like it could be a battle for the points but a half century from Elliot and an unbeaten 35 from Evanson saw me through.

Evanson has finally found some form this season, averaging 72 with the bat and 24.63 with the ball.

Bloody hell. Playing 2nd at home, and we bowled them out for 100. The good old very attacking openers getting 3 early wickets which finished them. Won by 8 wickets :) NRR is now 5 above anyone else, 4 points clear of 2nd and 8 of anyone else.

Could well get promoted into III at this rate...
