I am seemingly one of the few who drink both bitter and lager as a matter of routine, so this would theoretically be a toughie if Stella wasn't such effluent chemical-filled beverage of the lower classes. Anyone who doesn't patriotically vote for a beer named after the finest aeroplane in history is clearly French.

Spitfire is one of my least favourite ales & I do like a nice cold Wifebeater in the summer. That said I feel guilty for voting for a foreign lager, but Spitfire is from Kent!!

That comment would normally be enough for me to change my vote if I could. The only saving grace is I can't vote for something from Belgium against a English beer.

Get a real beer down your necks sometime. You really don't know what you have been missing. For Spitfire to potentially get knocked out in round 1 is scandalous and about as likely as SUFC knocking Man Ure out of the cup.

This is a last call to arms. I can live with going out in round 2 against decent opposition but round 1 against a non-leaguer is really not on.
