Battle of the 80s movie

Also available: -

1. Christiane F - set in the uber-cool West Berlin of '81, with Heroes-Scary Monsters era Bowie soundtrack (and performance) about a teenage junkie with punky appareil.

2. Babylon - about a reggae band (featuring Brinsley Forde from Aswad) and their harrassment by SUS laws. Saw it in Moss Side just after the riots up there in '81, by way of a grim coincidence. Despite it being a matinee performance and only about three of us watching it, there were OB in the foyer afterwards. To be fair though, they may have heard that BarnaBlue was in the area.

Thanks, Naps! I have also amended your spelling of my moniker as it had a missing 'r.' Jolly good thread - a pleasing distraction when I'm supposed to be working at home. :)

Also from Here Come The Double Deckers ;)

Superman II is still up for grabs!

Superman III is better imo - surprised as has been said, that Labyrinth hasn't gone, also what was that film where Tim Curry played the Devil in thoroughly OTT fashion, similar kind of fairytale/legend-ish film?

Surely Gremlins has to be in there?

Have never been able to watch this, get far too upset at what poor Gizmo has to endure!
