Still good news, the opposite side of things we haven't had the Yeovil Sturrock is god brigade out just yet :hilarious:

UTS

In all seriousness, well done to the bloke. He was a great servant here and I was over the moon when he turned down Burton to stay with us. Hope it all goes well and this form continues. Who knows if he carries it on up till Jan he may end up on the move again to a league one club.

If he carries it on Cambridge will be in League One next season.

Based off the comments on a League 2 forum it sounds like Cambridge were once again dodgy at the back and only awful shooting from Wimbledon stopped them from being a couple down at half time, they seem to be relying on scoring loads of goals to counteract the ones they concede, Cambridge need to sort out their defence if they want to go up.

Not necessarily. At League 2 level you probably can base your gameplan on 'we'll just score one more than them'. Other sides don't have the quality to punish every mistake so as long as you're hitting the back of the net with your chances then you stand a good chance. If they can continue scoring for fun then I'm sure they'll be there or there abouts come the end of the season. A tight defence is NEEDED in the Premiership, not League 2

They wont get promoted if they cant get 3 points even when they score 4 goals.

Cambridge scored more goals than us last season...finished19th. Carlisle scored more and finished 20th. Any football team that have ever achieved anything has had a good defence. Even the great Barcelona team a few years back had an outstanding defence

Until tonight when we smash Doncaster 4-0 then we will be level pegging. :winking:

MrsBlue stated Corr wasn't any good so just more evidence to back up the already proven statements that she doesn't have a clue when it comes to judging player quality. Still im sure Jason Williams would of scored more had he of played instead :hilarious:

How many goals will corr get tonight? Not sure that Cambridge are playing but that's a mere technicality
