Barry Corr

There was a nice tweet from him last night as well.

Lad behind me was singing this last Saturday to the Mohsni chant tune...

We've got Barry Corr, we've got Barry Corr
Who needs Mohsni? We've got Barry Corr!

Change Mohsni to Van Persie/Rooney/other Premier League striker and you've got a cracking chant.

He'll have a sore head this morning. 2am he was like the ****ed uncle at a wedding with his tie round his head in Chameleon.

I expect his head won't be the only thing hurting this morning the way he put himself about on the pitch.

All I can say is that there will be a piece of my heart that is forever BBBC. He's up there with Mark Bentley in the pantheon of Southend greats.

He even has his own icon

:Worthy:

1) (mark rawle tune) Oh Barry Corr BARRY BARRY BARRY CORR, BARRY BARRY BARRY CORE.

2) (big bad wolf tune?)
Who put the ball in the orient's net? Barry Barry, Who put the ball in the orient's net? Barry Barry Corr...

Barry Barry Corr Barry Barry Corr

Who put the ball in the orient's net? Barry Barry Corr.

With apologies to Edwin Starr

Corr, huh, what is he good for?
20 goals a season, a few red cards, a tenner off Barna Blue and a trip to Wembley
U-huh
Corr, huh yeah.

Might have to work on getting that second line to scan but I think we're onto a winner with this one.

Yep, he was proper dad dancing ha ha

All of the lads were class in Chameleon last night, fair play to them. Dancing down Lucy road with them and singing songs will live with me for a very very long time!!!!

Jim Croce had a half decent song call Bad, Bad Leeroy Brown,. The lyrics of the chorus are.

And he's bad, bad Leroy Brown
The baddest man in the whole damn town
Badder than old King Kong
