Barrett - retire? Or one more season?

At the end of the game, if promoted, can we get a chant of "One more year" going. Much like this;

He is already coaching under 5s and has contacts to then put the "starlets" into academies. I think I already said I think there's another season in those legs, so get him signed up, and that is after I said originally to go out on a high!

Retire and look back with pride otherwise the memories of the Championship season will haunt him if we struggle next season.

As most of you know I'm not his biggest fan. No issues at this level and I am under no illusions as to the positive effect of his enthusiasm and personality (and performance) coinciding with our recent run. Stay in this division fine. Go up and it is a season too far. Not in the class of Prior.

100% Yes - even as a bit part player he can do an excellent job in league one and will improve the performance of the rest of the defence- he played every match there near enough only last season I think

One more year, and as player/coach.

Doesnt have to be our first choice centre half, but having him in the squad alone would be fine by me.

I still think we are going overboard with AB. There's no doubt that his influence in the closing games was important. Nothing would give me greater pleasure (apart from a night with Emma Bunton) than to see AB pop up with a winner either today or at Wembley. If we go up it is a season and a division too far for him.
