I can't agree with that one. Their big fellow threw an arm first, and I felt they both had to go.

Same for me. Both players were guilty of the same offence.

agree 100% - seems a nice guy but pretty damn poor as a player - you need to be able to tackle at full back and he just can't/won't/doesn't - you should also be able to pass and link up play as you have more space in this position than any other outfield player and he just can't/won't/doesn't

Will we see Barker there when Philips is 100%??

yep no venue has been chosen as of yet for the final, i see us and wycombe are the only league two clubs left in our side of the draw, would be great to have charlton at home in the area quarters.

Clohessy - 7 Did well against the pacey winger
Mohsni - 4 What on earth was going on in his head for the sending off? Was bound to happen sooner or later.
Barker - 7 Great leadership at the back
Gilbert - 5 Not one of his best games
Hall - 6 Was surprised to see him on the right wing for the majority of the game. What a belter of a free kick - damn post!
Grant - 8 Dominant midfield display
Simpson - 6 Good to see him play through the middle
Soares - 7 Kept drifting inside leaving lot's of space but fantastic finish for the goal
Paterson - 9 Called upon due to injuries and didn't dissapoint MOTM
Crawford - 8 Brilliant build up play for the first goal, hopefully on the teamsheet more often

Coughlan - 7 Solid
Jarvis - 6 Clearly has pace to burn but think we have enough strikers
Zaaboub - 6 Think he'll do well if given a run in the team

Moshni sending off - he chased after their bloke looking for confrontation, it looked as if Moshni felt their guy had gone down easily. When he caught up with him, the barnet player swung (and missed) with a right hook at Moshni, to which Moshni retaliated by grabbing around the back of the guys head. Actually seemed pretty harsh to give Moshni red - but he had no need to look for this confrontation, as he has done a few times in previous matches. Eventually he'd see red.

x2 for the ratings for me please, but with Gilbert at 6.5. I just felt at lot of the reason he got in so much trouble Tues night was because Soares doesn't provide him with any cover, far too often he was left exposed in a two on one situation. Agree Soares was good going forward but he needs to support GIlbert more as well.

It's was the most enjoyable game for a while, and also provides a nice connundrum for Sturrock Snr in selecting strikers.

Like others was so disappointed in Moshni - madness, especially as the defence was starting to gel.
