The thing is, South East Essex is the overflow from East London, hence you get a historical support of London teams (notably West Ham) from the older generation who actually did live there, and that support goes down the family line. Leicester doesn't have that.

Surely we should be looking towards Burton rather than Leicester as a benchmark for how to go up? (Although I have a sneaking suspicion they're going to lose on Saturday and end up in the play offs, that's still a massive achievement given their odds to go down at the start of the season.)

Whilst Leicester is a great underdog story their squad is still worth millions, there's no way we could afford pacey players like Vardy to copy their counter attacking style, he cost a million even when he was in the conference. Leicester's methods are out of our price range. Burton on the other hand have a similar budget to us so there's no reason we can't emulate their success this season.
