He is cursed. He's not seen us win, then comes to Roots Hall, and see's and hears the crowd nowhere near our best. If we had scored the first goal, it would have been rocking in the ground and especially the North Bank. He would have loved it. Instead, their goal shocked everyone, and muted the crowd, and lots were Discussing.

We shook Evan's hand in the NB at the final whistle, he asked if we were going back to the Blue Boar (i think it was) for a drink, we said no not after that performance we're off home. He looked a bit puzzled, i didnt have the gumf to try and explain what that defeat meant to us right then ! Good kid and i hope and believe he's had a brilliant experience. Believe he'll try and catch us on DAZN in future.
