I think we need to be careful not to over do it. Let the lad enjoy his day presumably in the north. Lets not bog him down with meet and greets, get him in the local pubs before the game and give him a proper experience.

Maybe I'll sound like a grinch but getting him on the pitch etc I think would be really cringey.

I think it's only fair he returns the goodwill gesture of the 150 fans on the boat and invites them all to stay with him in USA for a holiday .
