Spoke to Justin in the Boar last week and he was confident Maher will get us promoted from this league. Maybe not this season but he will get promotion. Sounds like we have got to put up with this utter garbage for the rest of the season. Something seriously has to change.

Unfortunately if we want to compete we need a proper transfer window free of embargoes where we are prepared to invest ££

Otherwise we will have to accept it will take time to identify freebies and lower league gems that we need to polish. And rebuild.

Maher does have to take responsibility for this game. They play quick football which meant we needed sharpness in midfield. We turn to Moncur who doesn't run and hasn't played and Miley who isn't fully match fit. He's expected Miley to come into a midfield that's totally changed. That makes absolutely no sense.

Fair enough, we looked a little more attacking on paper pre-match and fans wanted that, but the moment you've realised it hasn't worked, you change it. They were running through our midfield at ease and it needed changing when the first goal went in. One thing I can't stand from any manger is stubbornness.

People will moan about the keeper but let's be honest, that's the least of our worries. To be fair too, he had to make 3-4 saves before that too. That's the sad reality of that half.
