Harrold just needs a bit of luck. Having just watched his penalty against Luton, it was pretty similar to Leon Clarke's against Doncaster. The only difference was Neil Sullivan opened his legs and Dean Brill kept his closed.

I think the difference between the two penalties was Sullivan sensibly opened his legs and let a ball going about 80mph hit the back of the net. Brill was able to get across the goal, dive and hold the ball as it was hit quite slowly in comparison.

If you hit it relatively straight then you've got to have some real conviction behind it - like Leon's against Doncaster and Beckham's for England against Argentina in 2002. I'm not sure if Harrold mis-hit it or what but any keeper in the World would be gutted to have let that one in.

Get across his goal?
Brill hardly had to move, Harrold hit the ball about 2 feet to the keepers right & all he had to do was fall over & catch it in his midriff.:thump:

Leons penalty a few games back was class, smashed down the centre of the goal leaving the keeper with no chance.
