People at all football grounds moan, and always will.
I am used to people around me supporting the team brillantly one minute, and moaning the next minutel.
Its all part of being a lower level football supporter.
When it turns into abuse of players. Its wrong!!
I have a diffrent opinion of players than others who sit next to me. Its what makes supporting Southend GREAT.
At least this year with the improved standard of football and greatly increased attendance. We are moaning less.
I personally am a positve person and would have taken our position in table at start of season. Well done Tango!!

We all moan at players, including the manager and coaching staff.

The difference in this case was that the player heard it and reacted to it.

If we're allowed the TBV as a singing section, perhaps we should have an area dedicated to TBM (The Blue Moan). We could have all the moaners in one area, with some stress balls etc

I guess everyone is aware that before each game, the East Bank have a meeting and each section has hand-picked indviduals allocated to a role for each match :-

Blue - Wind-up oppo fans
Yellow - Wind-up lino
Red - Wind-up oppo dug-out
Green - Wind-up the odd home player
Black - Wind-up oppo corner-taker

Brillant idea

If we play badly we could follow this up with a thread on here stating that given the poor performance of the team the quality of the moaning from 'TBM' was pretty poor. People from different sides of the ground could complain that they didn't hear TBM until we were 5.0 down . Its easy to moan at that point, where were the moaners when it was still 0.0? The manager could add in the programme notes that 'TBM' was really maing a difference to the atmosphere at matches and the players really appreicated the fans efforts
