be a bit more positive.

So far the season has not been bad for us.

A bit of more luck we could higher in league

All this moaning at home matches ref Phill B subs choices makes no difference, he has to decide.

If fans won't to booh etc no problem they pay their money and can do.

Better if all get behind team.

I still think we maybe be able get into the playoffs

The problem is there have been countless threads like this. In which everyone agrees on here that we should get behind the team and get off their backs etc. Then, in the next game, you still get people moaning. In fairness, not every Southend fan comes onto this site, so its not an agreement from ALL fans to not moan. In addition, you are always going to get moaners, you get them at every club, its just rather quiet in certain areas of the Hall and because of this the odd person can be heard shouting out obscenities.

I am personally all in favor of supporting the team but the reality is there are many punters who attend football for the sole purpose of moaning, even if Messi was playing. Additionally, you will always get one or two players who take it to heart and rise to it. I remember Mccormack swearing at the west stand during a News Years day match against Bristol Rovers because the fans were digging at him because he had clearly been out drinking the night before and he certainly wasn't fit for work. It's hard to stop fans and players alike to curb their emotions, rightly or wrongly. All you can do is make sure you support the club in the right manner.

Unfortunately we have too many world class Victors and Victorias including on here.. whether we have more than typical I don't know.. I suspect the silent and significant majority are positive and the 'critics' get airtime at the ground and on here out of all proportion to the numbers as a percentage of supporters.

It's a fair point. I do get annoyed when the players say in interviews 'the fans' need to get behind us. I think, well I do and so do many others. It isn't nice being part of a generalisation. As you say its a small minority that unfortunately get heard and highlighted. As a whole I think we back to team as much as most sets of fans.

But Davewebbsbrain you can't moan on here too much otherwise other posters get the hump with you and then you bite back and end up with a ban or a lifelong restriction when you post that the teacher has to give his ok before its allowed anymore

So, should we all just clap and say 'well done chaps for throwing away a 2-0 lead'?

Completely agree DWB, some people on here are so self righteous. I don't agree with moaning during the game but in the aftermath having a moan about possibly our worst half of football at home all season (first half v Walsall is the only obvious choice I can think of to match it) is surely justified.

Yes we've had a good start overall, but we could easily have an extra 2 points on the board, that's what's so frustrating. Yes Rochdale did improve massively after the break but both goals were due to fairly basic errors from our defence.

You talk about people having a go.

Did you breathalyse him when he came over to take a throw in?, or were you with him on News Eve to see him consume vast quantities of alcohol?

Yes but he put the points on Mohsni's license.
And having been on drinking sessions myself in the past and playing football the next day it doesn't take Stephen Hawking to work out the guy was suffering from a skin full. The guy couldn't run and could hardly breathe. Some things on life you can identify without a lawful investigation.

Can we moan about the people moaning about the moaners?

TBH moaning on here I have no huge issue with (sometimes its entertaining, sometimes its sad, occasionally I agree with it). Its when it's during the game and negatively impacting the players i find it irritating.
